Treedom website experience
in this partnership we had the opportunity to study, learn and understand to evolve people's experience with the Treedom website. For this project we assembled a team with the following specialists: UX Researcher, UX Designer and UI Designer.
our first goal was to make the user's life easier so that Treedom have beter results on website purchases. with the collaboration of the treedom team, we carried out the following steps:
BENCHMARK ANALYSIS
In order to make a comparative analysis between Treedom and its competitors, a brief benchmark study was performed. The general findings are shown.
For this brief comparative research, four companies in the same industry of Treedom were analyzed in the terms of their proposal, how their work, who is the main clients, where they operate, how is the tree-choosing process and whether there is a tree/project tracking process.
USER JOURNEY & USABILITY TEST
The user journey is a study of what a user must do to achieve a goal and describe the experience they have with the Treedom brand. The goals could be to complete a purchase, find information, or sign up for a service.
Usability testing is a type of user research that evaluates the experience when interacting with a website or application. It helps our designers and product team evaluate how intuitive and easy to use the Treedom website is.
REDESIGN
At this point, all discoveries about the user journey and the usability of the website had already been defined and presented in a report.
Our designers, together with the Treedom team, having access to these studies and their information, were able to create a new interaction and usability proposal for the components displayed on the website, always with a focus on facilitating the experience and improving the results sought by Treedom.
